Hi Tuesday Wipeouts and friends!
I’m looking at another Sportster deadline so here is this quarter’s installment of the TWO News!
We have had a busy winter with lots of skiing, visiting, and having lunch together. Aspen Snowmass was our mountain destination this year. We loved our ski in-ski out condos, hot tubs, and party room get-togethers at Top of the Village. The Gathering of the Goddesses at Giants Ridge was well attended and lots of fun.
Next year’s mountain trip will be to Beaver Creek, Colorado, February 2-9, 2019. Tom Gray is getting our arrangements made. If you decide to get an Epic Pass for Afton and Beaver Creek, it would help our group if you buy it through Tom Gray, as each season pass will help non-pass buyers get a group rate ski ticket.
Now that ski season is over, we have some other activities planned to keep us learning, lunching and laughing together. A tour of the newly restored Minnesota State Capitol is scheduled for the morning of April 10th. Our own Helen Bergren, a docent at the American Swedish Institute, will take us on a private tour of the castle and the current special exhibit, April 24th. Our Spring Luncheon is set to be held at the Edina Country Club on May 8th.
The TWO Spring Newsletter will be out soon, with a listing of our summer activities and more information for the ones I’ve mentioned here. Happy Spring!
